True words...this reminds me of my grandmother's favorite saying "Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself". I remember it always, even years after her first saying it to me. To be beautiful is to be compassionate, honest, open, and kind...sometimes, however, being such an open door invites in the theives and liars. Unfortunately, my internal "alarm system" is not so good in that regard. Nice write.

Wow, very lovely and singular. I really enjoyed the rhythm, felt like a love song as I read it aloud. Sonically good, thematically strong. I would like to see one example of beauty more specifically so you can define the abstraction (beauty) as something tangible, as opposed to keeping it abstract and vague. Lovely write--!
