The Seven C's

Protect the children, their innocence runs deep

Like the valleys of the ocean, where sunken vessels descend to sleep

They are ships embarking a journey amid uncharted waters, far and wide

Our influence is their beacon, our moral compass is their guide

Let them be skipper, captain of their own boat

Be their anchor while in irons, give them the tools to stay afloat

When their voyage is their own, they will sail beyond the reef

May their lessons be learned and their hardships be brief

Send them sailing leeward with the seven c's

Courage, caution, capability, care, character, charisma, and  curiosity

Amen to that! Great read, this one resonates me since I have three sons and I've tried to instill all these character traits in them, whilst giving them the freedom to be themselves, not an easy job but the most rewarding one on earth! Nice job Keely!
