A Poem by Nassira
"

I am trying to express the feelings that are trapped inside. As a mother, I often have to learn that I have to be patient and show the right example to my children. But I also feel overcome by an emptiness once in a while and wonder why do I feel so sad e

"

From the deepest part of my soul

From the furthest part of my heart

If motherhood is my role

What is it that I am breaking apart?

Answering the question

Without understanding the meaning

Couldn't bring no action

Wouldn't catch the feeling.

As I look all around

As I glance far ahead

It is all about sound

No peace allowed in my head.

This poem I understand very well. Being a mother myself,
I understand feeling overwhelmed, and empty. You are not
alone, we all feel this at some point in our lives. The only thing
I can suggest is that you take time for yourself, and even though
you are a mother, you are a woman too, and you have a right to
get to know yourself and enjoy who you are.

Ah! very deep and emotional...The feel of a mother has been very well conveyed here!
Perfect work for sharing with anyone at the occasion of mother's day which is just about to come :)

This was very beautiful and well written,as a mother myself, I can understand the feelings that come from staying home and raising children. It is very rewarding but, it also can leave vague feelings of discontent and questions as to our purpose. I just wanted to say thank you for expressing yourself so eloquently!

Superb little poem. You conveyed very well the feelings of mothers
from time to time. But we seem to muddle through somehow!

Another beauty from your pen!

This was a beautifully writem poem! I loved the way it flowed your thoughts and emotions onto the page and projected them to the reader.

I may not be a mother, unless you consider natures animals as children, but i understand the concept of know no peace in ones head.

Sometimes one has to find those small moments of silence and meditate. I find that helps when I get muddled in life.

I have great respect for mothers, especially those who sacrifice their self to raise their young.

Wonderful piece!

Sincerly,
Nature's Essence :)
