some of my childhood memories...

I remember….

 

 

My childhood as if it was just yesterday,

Swinging so high, trying to touch the sky,

Climbing cherry trees in the month of July,

Running fast… climbing high, just the other day!

 

No worry… no reason to fear a stranger,

With an innocent mind, just being a child

Enjoying the seasons, enjoying the wild,

Surfing on the waves of life’s leisure.

 

Flying like the wind, on the horse’s rides,

Through branches and trees, up mounts and hills,

Riding fast enough … still feeling the thrills,

Of adventurous quest, within forever resides…

Oh! This is so heart touching!
This brought memories of my childhood in front of my eyes!
I'm fortunate enough to have plenty of good memories from my childhood and I really miss them a lot, since things have been so much changed now.
But this is what life is all about, it unfolds itself in its own pace leaving just memories for our hearts.

The opening line is very strong and gave the correct mood for the reader , the continuing lines conveyed that feel even in a better way while the closing lines left even the reader with his/her own nostalgic memories.
This is one of your best according to me, Awesome work!!!
