The outcasts

They are among us but yet not!

All of them can tell us a story that has past

Their voices unclear, reduced to a dot

They used to belong here before being outcasts.

Most of them we do not know

Some of us more or less perceptive.

To their coming around… hiding in shadows

Seeking attention from who dares to receive.

The clouds are gathering in the sky

Numerous … varying shapes and tones

On alert, birds assemble to fly

To their shelter made out of clay and stones.

Nature and its instinct flowing in the veins

Has always showed signs with deep insight

There is no doubt this time again!

The rain is full of ghosts tonight…

Beautifully painted with words... almost a mystic touch to it.

The final line.. 'The rain is full of ghosts tonight' truly has great significance, never thought of it before and it's so true.

What you say it also true: there are people who hide in the shadows, outcast, voices unclear.

I think this is one of your most unusual and thought provoking poems. Wonderful
