Summer Storm

Summer Storm

A Poem by A.R. Lieber
"

A poem I got published when I won a contest. just a little weather poetry.

"
Splish, Splash
Lightning strikes with a flash.
Thunder talks with a booming voice
The noise scares me, but not by choice

Pitter, Pat
In runs my frightened cat.
Another flash another boom,
My sister runs into my room

Drip, Drop
It looks like there is no stop.
The water's rising higher now,
The wind makes the trees bow.

Tick, Tock
The hands are moving 'round the clock
At 10AM the rainbow shows
This summer storm is at a close.
