Chapter 6: Sceyth Galaxy

 

 

 As Xio and Alice explore the planet, they come across towns with many beings that are beaten and even killed. Alice already knowing the galaxy they entered is a bad one that is being ruled by someone evil. They had asked around for info on the name of the galaxy which is Sceyth, a known name around other galaxies nearby of being strong and corrupt.

“We entered a really bad galaxy.” Alice tells Xio.

“What do you mean by bad?” Xio asks.

“Bad as in evil and bad as in we are screwed if we continue to stay here.” Alice explains.

“What’s this, I thought you were the kind type to actually do something about this?” Xio being surprised.

“Of course I am going to do something, what I mean is that it is most likely that more are coming and we will be extremely out numbered.” Alice looking, seeing if they are already coming.

“Makes sense.” Xio scratching his head.

“You don’t need to help me, besides we can split from here.” Alice tells Xio.

“Alright then good luck.” Xio goes off to find a ship.

 Alice goes looks for one as well, going separate ways.

 Xio dashes through the lands looking for any signs of ships to steal, while Alice only looks for soldiers ships to steal and not civilians. A batch of ships appear outside of the planet and spot Alice, immediately landing and surrounding her.

“Don’t let her escape!” Someone shouts from a speaker.

“Seriously.” Alice seeing that she is in a tough spot.

 Fighting through the soldiers, Alice gets hit by a sneak attack making her fall to the floor. Immediately tries to get up but gets stopped by a sword right next to her throat.

“Don’t bother.” A woman named Veria who is part of the Sceyth rank which is the highest among the army of the Sceyth galaxy.

 About to slice the throat of Alice, Xio comes in with a drop kick on Veria, sending Veria far.

“Nice, look at all these ships.” Xio not being worried about Alice.

 Veria gets up with a calm look but surprised on the inside.

“To think I was only able to react fast enough to block half of that.” Veria thinking about it.

“Why did you have to step in? Now I am going to feel like I owe you now.” Alice being frustrated with Xio.

“Hey, I only do that when someone is to my liking.” Xio explains.

 Veria suddenly vanishes among flower pedals.

“Is that-“

“Yeah, its manifest movement. If one of those pedals comes near you then cut it.” Alice warns Xio.

 Veria had already left a pedal near them after she was dropped kicked by Xio and appears behind them.

“Nope.” Xio being aware already and attacks before Veria did.

 Veria having to block Xio’s attack, Alice tries to cut her but Veria immediately manifested into flower pedals and keeps her distance.

“Having trouble?” A man named Auhzer who is another of the Sceyth teleports right next to Veria.

“Just some underestimating.” Veria taking out a rose and starts to pull the pedals.

“Leave him to me.” Auhzer having his sights on Xio.

 Auhzer equips a chain and tries to attack Xio with it. Xio tries to block but the chain gets tangled on his right arm.

“Dam why did I block.” Xio realizing it was dumb to block.

 Xio gets thrown around by Auhzer, at the same time, Veria throws all the pedals from the rose she had plucked at Alice. Alice slashes them but they start to surround her even when cut in more pieces. Veria enters inside the whirlpool of pedals and manifests a sword in shape of a rose. Alice tries to escape the whirlpool by jumping out, knowing it would be some kind of advantage to Veria if she stayed in, but Veria suddenly appears right in front of her, knocking Alice back down.

“I figured as much.” Alice had guessed it wouldn’t be that simple.

“No you didn’t.” Veria makes a hand gesture and goes in.

 Attacking Alice and clashing swords, Alice gets hit by pedals from the back, although being small they still stab on the skin. Having to take the damage of the pedals to avoid being slashed by Veria which would be more damaging, Alice is in a though spot, losing blood.

“Guess I’ll use it.” Alice about to use a power but then gets tackled out of the whirlpool by a tossed Xio.

 Xio landing right on top of Alice.

“Dam b*****d.” Xio getting up and noticing Alice underneath. “Oh, how’s it going?” He asks Alice casually.

 Alice kicks Xio off.

“Idiot.” Alice being mad at Xio.

“It wasn’t my fault, that dudes ability is annoying.” Xio getting up and cracking his fingers and neck.

 Ahuzer has a long distance chain weapon that can instantly transform into a sword when enemies try to approach. It also spreads into multiple chains.

“So is mine.” Alice also shaking off the damage.

 Veria can manifest into pedals and reappear into another pedal, along with manipulating and turning those pedals into sharp small knifes that can barrage someone among the millions of pedals she can control.

“Well, I am getting tired of this.” Xio charges at Auhzer.

 Auhzer whipping 5 chains at Xio, evading them and getting close the chains turn into a sword. Xio being prepared for it by secretly taking a piece of Alice’s armor when they had collided. Using it to block the slash, Xio lands a strong punch on his gut and follows it up with an uppercut. Being a bit fatigued from the attack, Auhzer backs away to get on guard again but loses sight of Xio.

“Wha-“

 Auhzer getting kicked on the side of the head from behind and gets one in the stomach again causing him to be sent flying.

“Seems like all I needed was one hit to get the advantage.” Xio says to himself.

 Meanwhile as Alice fights Veria, being in the same position as last time but now Alice envelops herself into unique white armor. Veria feeling the sudden power-up and being surprised by the type it is.

“You’re an angel?” Veria being shocked.

“It’s complicated.” Alice says.

 With just a swing of her sword, Alice clears the entire whirlpool of pedals as well as cut Veria with just the one slash, killing her. Xio also finished his fight with Auhzer and heads over to Alice.

“Wow.” Xio never knew Alice had such a power.

 Alice walks towards Xio and grabs his shoulder. Xio being confused until Alice suddenly knees Xio in the stomach very hard.

“Did you really think I wouldn’t notice you grabbing my b**b in that instant?” Alice asking Xio when they had crashed onto each other.

“S… s**t, I thought I was fast enough.” Xio slowly getting up from the knee to the stomach, accepting the punishment.

 Alice removes the transformation and almost faints to the floor but Xio prevents it.

“Dam, I stayed too long in that form.” Alice being exhausted from having using that ability. “You can let go now.” She tells Xio.

“Are you sure you’re ok?” Xio asks being worried.

“Don’t worry, I just need some rest.” Alice says in an exhausting way.

 Xio being aware that Alice will not be able to handle more opponents like Veria and Auhzer on her own. So he decides to help out Alice on bringing good to the galaxy that is ruled by a corrupted leader.
