Chapter 3: More Meeting

Before returning to his ship, Xio uses the opportunity to take even more stuff after the invasion of the bandits. As he approaches his ship, a woman appears before him, wearing white slim armor with white hair, looking like some kind of model.

“Umm-.”

The woman suddenly doing a surprise slash with a sword. Xio getting cut from his chest, managing to dodge a fatal slash.

“The hell is up with women attacking?” Xio asks himself.

“Sorry but I am going to have to take your ship.” She tells Xio.

“Another bandit hu?” Xio not being surprised.

“Don’t include me with your kind, the kind who steal from others who work hard for those items.” She claims.

“Well you are pretty much doing the same thing.” Xio not understanding her logic.

“I’m just getting rid of a villain who will no longer need this ship.” She explains.

Battling it out, they fight evenly. Both being very stubborn in losing and keep getting up although they are reaching their limits for their stamina.

“S**t man, this woman is very good.” Xio says.

They continue fighting with their very exhausted bodies.

“God dam.” Xio taking heavy breaths. “Can we stop this already? This is getting annoying.” He asks the woman.

“No.” She replies.

“If you needed some kind of lift then I would have-.”

The woman suddenly falls on the floor while holding her stomach in pain.

“Guess I won?” Xio says.

Xio notices that she looks like she hasn’t eaten in a very long time.

“Don’t tell me you’re a wanderer without any currency as well?” Xio asks.

The woman doesn’t say anything but Xio knows that was the case. He also knows that she is very kind hearted due to her being strong and not willing to steal food, Zerk was a  planet that didn’t have much work to get currency. Xio heads inside his ship and comes back out with food.

“Here.” Xio handing out some protein bars. “Don’t worry, these aren’t stolen. They were from my home planet.” He lies knowing she would have most likely refused stolen food.

She decides to take it and eat it all of it.

“Don’t expect me to repay you in anyway.” She tells Xio.

“I’m not that type, anyways I am curious as to who you are.” Xio says.

“My name is Alice and I am from Divine.” Alice introducing herself.

“Well my name is Xio from planet Earth.” Xio giving a quick introduction. “So you are stranded here right?” He asks.

Alice doesn’t want to admit it but still explains her situation.

“So you got into a fight that got your ship destroyed and been here for two weeks. Aren’t you too kind?” Xio asks since Alice had many opportunities to steal someone’s ship.

Many don’t give free rides since most who travel space are either wanderers or just deliverers of shipment that are always on a tight schedule.

“I don’t take from the helpless.” Alice says.

“If you need a lift then I don’t mind giving you one?” Xio offering Alice a ride.

 Alice observes Xio.

“Why would you mind in the first place, well you don’t seem to be a bad guy.” Alice thinking of Xio differently.

“I am just a careless person.” Xio being proud of it.

Xio opens the entrance to the ship.

“Ladies first.” Xio says.

“Don’t do that.” Alice says it harshly but goes in first.

“Ha, I’m actually liking you.” Xio closing the door and heading inside as well.

Alice observes the ship of Xio, being extremely messy.

“Ugh, am I really getting a ride with someone like you?” Alice regretting the decision.

“Well I didn’t expect to have women over, and even then I probably wouldn’t have cleaned.” Xio says.

“Whatever, this is perfect. In exchange for the ride, I will at least clean your mess.” Alice tells Xio.

“Ok then.” Xio taking up the offer.

Xio starts up the ship and heads out into space to wander into another planet.
