To have such strong feelings for someone that you think your life would be totally incomplete without them, to know your heart would be empty in the absence of theirs, to know you love someone with absolutely everything in you. . .that is what makes life worth traveling. For the ones of us that possess this feeling and have it reciprocated, life is amazing, however, for those of us who have this feeling unrequited, life can be quite painful. Nothing is worse than being around the one you love, knowing they don't feel the same. You live for the next moment you see them, discovering each time that it's harder and harder to leave their side, pretending you feel nothing more than friendship. It's difficult trying to "move on" when all you can think about is them. Everything about them is perfect in your eyes. It's almost torture, day in and day out. We keep telling ourselves that things will change, they'll come around and see the light. They'll see us. Living on the hope of tomorrow, we push our hearts to the limit, knowing deep down that we shouldn't, but praying it's all for a reason. Maybe we keep putting ourselves through the hell simply because we feel we have nothing else to hold on to or maybe it's because we are compelled completely by love's blinding force.
