I love the rhythm and the soft musical effect produced by alliteration. I could just recite these lines forever. :) I like your choice of words "all you wish" and the repetition of "search" which perfectly portrays the futility of the search.

Have ceased to grace the ground.
This almost made me cry. It was so sad and yet so beautiful ..

It leads to wonder what happened to make this person vanish. It's not explicit that he's died, its not explicit why the person is searching, it's all very vague. Yet, the emotion of sadness is there when you read this. What we do know is someone is gone, and someone is searching and won't be able to find them. Really nice layered short piece
