spoils for the victors

spoils for the victors

A Poem by uhknowbot-e

A beauty forged in war, a marvel born from truth
A symbiosis seen, when no one is aloof
An epic written throughout humanity's existence
When it finds its mark, there's simply no resistance
rose a vibrant red, stem riddled with thorns
Best think twice, about putting on those horns
For it is elusive, and may never again return
A bird is not a Phoenix, won't fly after it burns
It can make you break, hurt, cry and bleed
In the end the sweat, blood, and tears are worth it, indeed
