How are you holding on ?

How are you holding on ?

A Poem by John Jor
"

This was something I wrote on a lonely night as I think about the girl I like. She look so happy; want everyone to think it that way. Yet I can sense a tinge of sorrow whenever I hear her talk.

"

Beneath the cover of exuberance, lies a tired weak lonely soul
That cries for attention and affectionate, that its constantly pour.

How long is less, how short is more; an lonely anthem sung in the store.

It wait and wait for a moment to stop, just to be afraid when all things stalled.

It wants its rest, yet solace is its greatest fear
The lonely silence that came along bring its tear

How long is less, how short is more; an lonely anthem sung in the store.
When will it realise, nothing really matter everything is but fantasy and more.

A soothing touch, a serene voice and a warm glare; are all she need.
To find comfort in the silent solace that she dread.

You are not alone is what it hear as it slowly drift away
carrying a faint smile as its bliss cradle her to sleep
