I kind of like the description of 'a one liner, chopped to bits' as a description, especially for a topic such as this. It's kind of oddly fitting, but in general I do just like that description of shorter poems.
I do sort of feel that you are right with this sentiment. It would be more accurate to describe hate as an absence instead of an opposite, especially since 'love' can be so varied, its opposite isn't even a clear definition a lot of times.
Very thought provoking, I'm now going to be rethinking the definitions of words all day. Thank you for sharing.

We understand that writers are prone to rampant contemplations but in this case we do hope you continue. So, so many words are intentionally ambiguous and it seems better definitions with more consensus and less ambiguity might be a good thing. Well, this is different; and certainly not what one was expecting..! Is it a modified dictionary definition? And, how does this factor in with; so called " love hate relationships" (answers on a postcard please!). Technically, perhaps your interpretation ought to have suggested that hate involves; the complete absence of love.? From my experience, I do believe that there are plenty of other emotional states; which fit in that grey middle ground - wallowing somewhere between love and hate? For example, being indifferent to someone, not minding somebody or simply not caring..? Indeed, do you hate everyone on this site or love them all? Well, if it's a work day Monday - then maybe you hate everyone..! Anyway, keep on writing; and thanks for sharing. But, not quite thankful enough to love you? So, better watch out; because that might mean I hate you lol? Of course, in the world of modern politics; it's a different ball 🏀 game - in which the rival sides almost do seem to experience love or hate only (with fewer other emotional states in between)...?
