I really enjoyed the suspense of your writing technique! Your descriptive language allowed me to feel as if I were the young man. I was not expecting the ending!
I don't nitpick about grammar or spelling. Yours is nearly flawless. There were a couple missing letters from the ends of some words, but that may have been my fault, as I converted your story to Kindle format.
I tend to agree with other reviewers that this is not the traditional length of a novel, perhaps a novella, but that shouldn't be important. This is a solid piece of writing.
It's reminiscent of Bret Hart's American West writings, and it has the unpredictability of some of Mary E. Wilkin's Freeman's stories, such as "Old Woman Magoun," which deals with some similar death themes as well as a surprise ending; your story is a perfect example of suspenseful realism in the traditions of some of the best authors.
This book, is a novella. The chapters are too short, well you explained. The idea of setting the book in just one location is not really fantastic but its a nice book. Hope my review isn't any bit discouraging?
'heaven is a bite away' is a great, just finished reading it and it shows the talent of the author. It has a sense of comedy and suspense which is attractive. Im reading the author's tomorrow never came next
Uc, first of all, il say that the title is great. It really captures the reader's attention and each chapter makes it seem more interesting. I hope part 2 would be out soone part 2 would be out soon
I'm a young writer. creative. Remarkable. Okay! Now I'm bragging. A med student and wanna-be writer, not interested in any other thing-So when I ain't reading, I'm writing.
