Persevere
A Poem by Derek ubuntu Dunham
Written 5/2013
We all stop sometimes. Screeching halts Sparks flying Loads shifting Pausing, Before rolling again.
Like a train, I try to stay on track. Derailments are Messy Tragic And can sometimes Keep you from ever Going again.
Rolling slowly at first, But gaining speed. Momentum building,
I keep my eye On the horizon, Moving forward.

A good poem: simple, allegorical and wonderful. You definitely have a talent :)

Great metaphor - sort of "The Little Engine that Could" all grown up.
Like a train, I try to stay on track.
Derailments are Messy Tragic
And can sometimes Keep you from ever Going again...
There is a lot of wisdom in these lines. Great piece!
