Stitched TogetherA Poem by Derek ubuntu DunhamDedicated to Breeze
Twisted fiber,
sailing smoothly over bamboo needles. Stitch after stitch, marrying balls of individual threads woven together to form something greater. You do this with your hands In ways others can't understand. Discarded yarn in bright colors and soft textures Thrift store treasures you'll someday weave into something to keep others warm. You do this with your heart knowing together is better than apart.
