Missing My Brother

fond thoughts from the heart of a sister

Until I heard your voice 
The stagnant emotions surged and flowed
The familiar sound that echoes from deep within
Ever resounding close to my soul
It stirred it awakened 
I had not realized until now
The pain of familiarity
The fondness of love
It dragged me along to the verge of joy
A long lost being swept away by resurrected memories
Memories that were once oblivion 
Will now rise up again into the mortal realm
I realized I missed you and I promise you my dear brother
That I never will again

As brief as this poem is, it's really touching. You give the reader the emotional roller coaster of siblings and family life that makes you experience the feelings in your head like you see it through your own eyes. I feel that this was a well written piece. I would only improve on the memories with your brother and describing them.

Im glad you liked it... and yes, I could have added a few more details.. but, i had this poem in my head, and I just had to write it down... it came just like that..written for my brother.. and my brother loved it too...:) I will addd more description in my future work.Thanks..
