Is this Love or Revenge?

Today you broke my heart, although we’re worlds apart.

You say that we’re just friends, but what happens then.

You’ve told me that you love me, and that you don’t want me to leave.

But how can I stay, when you can’t even stand by what you say.

You say that you’re sorry, but I don’t really care

Because how could you do this, this isn’t very fair.

You make me feel guilty, when I did nothing wrong

And whenever I try to leave you, I think of my favorite song.

I try and try to leave you, but you know exactly what to say.

So then I come back to you, although this shouldn’t be the way.

I trust you more than anything, although it never works

If you do this to me again, then I don’t know what lurks.

Maybe I will leave you or maybe I will die

Or maybe I should leave you so I don’t have to cry

If they say fool me once shame on you and fool me twice shame on me

Then what comes next, because this was number three

For some reason I’ve believed you changed, and you believe so too

But one day you better watch your back, for the same may happen to you.
