Firestorm

Firestorm

Tap into
And seek,
Find
—Your governor

He who lights the altar,
The one who controls
     All outposts

There are no worries
No ugly whistles
     To disturb our slumber
No miners to etch
     Our history

Under the cool and dry
     Summer moon
Wolves prowl
     Over the feast
          They rightfully won
It’s nature’s maxim

All hunger curbed
And no longer dangerous
The men, the hunters
     Gaze upon Orion
          And his glow

It is here and now
     That purpose has
          Full meaning
No lust of my blood

Sparklers amongst the fire
