Even philanthropic tales
     Hide submission
Nothing more of a sinister
And sarcastic bride
Wonderful woman
     Of incurable wit

 

Always the friend
     Of the needy
Always the enemy
     Of the hurt
Never cautious
     Of paronomasia
Quite the clever
          Mind

 

Women try their luck
     Men risk theirs

 

I pray that her jovial
     Needs are met with
          Eagle’s flight
So unlucky
     Yet so well off
One must wonder all
     The possible interactions
She is Athena
     And all others serfs

 

She can stand on
     The mountains
Overlooking
Watching
Chanting
Laughing
