If you haven't notice

If you haven't notice

A Poem by L.Cyrus

Friday night lights has me awake past midnight

I said I’d be there for you when I had you

Giving birth to lose rather than gain

Has me connecting this pencil with this paper

Yet losing you caused more weight on my shoulder

If you haven’t notice

I’m a grieving mother stranded in the cold

Who lost what was once so pure to the world

This poetry is the saddest I’ve ever told

Ten numbers is what’s preventing me from being your hero

I said I’d be there for you when I had you

I ignored my past and I know you will to

History repeats itself

I wish this wasn’t me but these chains are hard to break

If you haven’t notice

I’m a miserable father that gone astray

Unintentionally I followed my father

Continue the legacy is what I pray

The memories is what I’m made of

When you have me you will be there for me

I’m still in the stage where I dream and hope

Of seeing the faces of the love ones that made me

I’m the life you blew in her

If you haven’t notice

I’m the unborn child of you and you

The words that he claim and the thoughts that you thought

That love is what I expect and hope to be true

First poetry decided to write it on the spot. Hope it's good. I tend to talk about social awareness.
