Inspiration

A Poem by anonyMEty.celeste
"

There are two kinds of writers -the ones who can write at will, and the ones who write only with inspiration. Both live through their writing; it seems only one has choice, though.

"

Inspiration

An electric shock,

A sudden jolt,

The purest of kinds,

Like a lightning bolt.

Crazy as it may seem,

Though sane as others may deem,

Shapeless,

Yet full of contours,

Boundless,

Yet cruel as it sneers.

Empowering, amazing, to one who beholds,

But the root of jealousy,

To those does not unfold.

Loyal comrades to intellectuals,

Powerful and lethal.

A gift, unlike a skill,

One we must not belittle.

An icy glacier,

The greenest coriander,

A crazed fire,

The most chilling atmosphere.

A spider web of emotion,

Intertwined and twisted.

Sharp-eyed to precision,

It most definitely is inspiration.

........
lines are powerful, well written.

About
I'm inconsistent, confusing, far too direct. I see from viewpoints far too many than I can count; I can't tell if it's a gift or a curse. I started writing when I was 13, most of my pieces here I wrot.. more..
