Relic Hunters

Relic Hunters

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Relic Hunters

stomping upon old bones and

crushing the skulls of yesterday,

figuring out our direction and standing

as echoing corridors only lead us astray...

The antropologists and archeologists as well as the naturalists would strive not to crush any old stones or bones in their work. This sounds more like grave robbers or those who deal in illegal artifacts. I believe in preserving history for future generations in our museums. We can learn from history if we don't destroy it. Nice write.
