New Skies (Tired Tombs)

New Skies (Tired Tombs)

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

New Skies (Tired Tombs)

riding this cold elevator

as it goes up and down,

and today is as blissful a

butterfly trying new skies

but yesterday is welcome

to climb back into the grave

You can only move forward in life, not back. Rewinding isn't living up to today. James a great poem, but a greater meaning behind the work!
