Comatose

Comatose

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Comatose

running my fingers along

my achingly worried face,

can I slip into a coma

and awaken when all is well...

This is the second time in a many days that I have come across your work. What I find most awesome about it is the juxtaposition. You introduce an idea in the first stanza, then give an answer that varies in the second. It is almost like a call and response.
