Suitable Sorrows

Suitable Sorrows

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Suitable Sorrows

calling out through

the haunting darkness,

why must we rest in such shadows, whilst

the light never reaching our tear stained faces...

is it simply because we've slipped out of grace

and found our sorrows somehow more suitable
