Desolate Dues

Desolate Dues

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Desolate Dues

not wanting to be one

of such desolate dues,

where every breath is a sour

display of a deep seeded poison....

and the past rides upon us unbreakingly

like that of some death casting merry-go-round
