Enveloped in Distance

Enveloped in Distance

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Enveloped in Distance

down by the water

I'd truly like to skip my blues away,

I'd watch the waves ripple

as soon they'd be enveloped by distance...

but shall I ever rightfully give them

unto an icy grave I think as stepping astray
