Cheating Death

Cheating Death

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Cheating Death

living by a lifeline

handed down by higher,

nothing echoes truer

than death being cheated

Nice. Short and clear is the best. Word compression is about saving the right ones.....
This is a good example.
A lifeline handed down by higher, insinuates life is merely a fragile gift, without drawing particular entities into the picture. In this world full of disease and corruption, cheating death has become the day to day.
Well done.
