Electric Eyes

Electric Eyes

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Electric Eyes

everywhere we go we're

all linked to one another,

forget aloneness or any means

of things done within secrecy

because we are being watched

by oh so many electric growing eyes

Could be two sets of eyes here - the spiritual and the physical (big brother government watching us). My inclination would be to think this is about surveillance rather than guardian angel-ship. It is provocative and its brevity might sugest the 'blink of an eye.' Cute, if you had that in mind. Good work.

brilliant gin blossom rhythm, glowing electric eyes, wow. james you have a style all your own perfected.
thi si a pleasure to read. says to me, self explainatory, we are all connected at some level unseen,
spiritual perhaps? this poem draws thoughts to ponder marvelously.
