the rain falls and

I hear you deeply sigh

 

what has happened,

will you tell me, sad heart...

 

did some cruelty take away

your beauty and innocence...

 

causing the loving smile to

melt away from your caring face..

 

but all is not lost if only

you'd believe, dear child

 

for you can set your eyes

upon the bright horizon

 

and handing your deepest pains

unto the mightest of hands in heaven
