I Wave Goodbye

I Wave Goodbye

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

I Wave Goodbye

why must you

walk away from me

leaving me so

sad and lonely

i say stay....

i call your name....

i wave goodbye...

now i stand silently

in this salty sea

and you've gone

and sailed away

into tomorrow you're

heading for uncertainty

and i abide in this water

searching hard for the  true see

i say stay....

i call your name....

i wave goodbye...

and you turn your back on me

and set out for some unknown eternity

i say stay....

i call your name....

i wave goodbye...

This is so sad James. One walks away leaving the other in tears.
Its rare to see you write a poem this long but you have done a great
job with it. But then you always do my friend. I don;t think I have
seen any of your work that I haven't loved.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Along story but I think I'm on my way back.
