The Etchings of a Smile

The Etchings of a Smile

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

The Etchings of a Smile

shake me,
break the scars away

kill the ugly,
and lay to waste the rotten days...

bring down dawn and grace
and etch a smile on this changing face

One of my faves from you. I just love the idea of etching the smile where there wasn't one before! Great stuff!
