Once We Were Innocent

Once We Were Innocent

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Once We Were Innocent

toying within

this cozy crib

 joying in  life

and being a kid,

having grown up now,

some knowledge is hid

still nothing's a mess until

we're known to the grid
