Life is Killing Us

Life is Killing Us

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Life is Killing Us

walking down the street
I saw an eagle overhead,

he winked to say "this life is killing
us, everyone" then he flew skyward

nothing matters, here, only breath and
faith, and now, time's also fleeing...
