The Lavender Scent

The Lavender Scent

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

The Lavender Scent

dearest, do the walls crawl

with many sutile fingerprints...

sweet one, does the air hold

tightly upon the lavenders scent...

honey child, is it the waft of the spirit

that causes us so much closeness...

alls I really know is I'd rather

never be letting you go, stay angel
