Black Crack of Time

Black Crack of Time

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Black Crack of Time

hugging tightly
to the bullets,

as the splatter
oozes right down

and through those
black cracks of time...

why must we, always,

choose violence as
our bloody bitter ends
