Living in the Circus

Living in the Circus

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Living in the Circus

what's going up, now

when everyone's down,

the neighbourhood's in muck

and the world wears a frown...

the place is in sheer chaos

and all seems a loss,

nothing's too good

when dreams are all tossed

and sadly, our head is that

of an unhappy clown

This is terrific. I loved the entirety. It could go as far as a national scale right at the moment. A very interesting and descriptive form.
