Devouring All

Devouring All

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Devouring All

the feast was grand

and we swallowed heartly,

thinking nothing of tomorrow

or of upcoming hungers...

because we have no care

for what happens later

it's a primal urge to take today

and possibly suffer mightly future tense
