Etched Legends

Etched Legends

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Etched Legends

the sun's shinin' down

and town folk gathered 'round,

my finger's itchin'

and heart's twitchin'...

sweat drips cold

and steel feels hot,

but shortly, someone'll drop,

leavin' only the victor to top

the quickest gun-fighter man,

etches new formed legends
