Smile in the Knowing

Smile in the Knowing

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Smile in the Knowing

darling, where have all

those sweetnessess gone,

did you take

them with you,

as your body

now gains heaven...

surely, you'd look

back softly, winking,

but flying higher, still,

you'll begin glowing

your wings, touching sight,

and I smile in the knowing;

I'm faithful toward tomorrow

Inspiring words, there's a tranquil feeling in this poem. I could see and angel with wings spread flying in the sky, carring all the worries and giving hope for tomorrow.
