The Innocence of Youth

The Innocence of Youth

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

The Innocence of Youth

climbing up

so highly,

reaching for

more limbs,

and then, grasping

eagerly towards

Gods' hearing...

these are

the innocent

hopings of

lively children

And the days of youth pass by so fast then spend the later years wondering where those days have gone.
