I'm so proud to have written this piece, and also, that it's going to be included in an upcoming novel.

Brave, Through And Through

 

well out

into battle

 

they go,

 

a man

and his

 

best friend,

 

just ducking

and dodging...

 

fighting the

good fight,

 

and hoping

to see

 

tomorrows' light,

 

and now

praying mightily

 

to again

 

be with

loving  family,

 

but never

forgetting

 

their duty

James this is excellent, and isn't it so true. Mans best friend will stick by his side no mattter what. They protect us, always loyal and even if we haven't a friend in the world they will stand faithfully by our side.
