Forgetting Yesterday

Forgetting Yesterday

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Forgetting Yesterday

the bones

will twist,

and flesh

shall cry,

but, as we

leave these

earth shells...

what now

waits beyond,

smells like

better soil,

and, soon we'll

forget yesterday

Funny how we will see so much mass destruction but we will forging forward to speechless beauty.

This piece starts and ends with such description that I can almost envision the pain and what lies after it.

Nice write, my friend!

I love how you worded this. Perfect. So often we wish to forget yesterday. You put this a way I couldn't imagine anyone putting better. Great write.
