The Prayers Lifted

The Prayers Lifted

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

The Prayers Lifted

the trigger,

echoed out

against color,

and we

spoke loudly...

wishing for

no violence,

but knowing

down deeply,

there was

nothing here;

and the

prayers lifted...

as tears

formed oceans

You have an amazing talent of conveying so much in so few but, not little. Excellent!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! James, you're so talented. yes, there is so much pain and so many travesties that go unnoticed. So much love that is needed, and so little is given. WOW! 100 daisies!
