Birds of Flight

Birds of Flight

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Birds of Flight

watching simply, and

just standing still, as those

winged creatures,

now, enjoy the sky

so why can't we, ever be that

happy, or so very lucky..

To be able to soar the skies in free flight, is something only dreams are made of,
indeed James, you capture the feeling well here, the desire to reach for that which is unobtainable, the same principle facts that wishes inspire, "birds of flight"

reading your words, is to look toward the eternal blue, and watch those that own the sky play with awe and wonder, the meaning reflects that which man has longed for since the beginning of time, to be able to rise above gravity and touch the hand of

space and all that which brings about peace and joy, three factors create the
foundation this poem is built on, number one, emotional, as in the emotional confliction which is the primary feeling, number two is the imagery that compels the

passion behind the details like "winged creatures, now, enjoy the sky" and the third factor would be the minimal way you've captured the essense of the emotion.
Nice job. I really enjoyed reading this.
Take Care, Mike
