A Kiss, Goodbye

A Kiss, Goodbye

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

A Kiss, Goodbye

nothing last

forever, and

as our

very bones

are whittled

down, and

now turning

into dust...

we'll face

the mirror,

to blow

ourselves

a final

fleeting kiss

This gave me such a sense of sadness, and yet it is bittersweet.

Great job, once again! =)

the defining moment of "this is it, this is the end" We all must face the mirror and if you're able to blow a kiss goodbye to what you see then you've lived a life worth saying goodbye to. Excellent.
