Death Becomes Us

Death Becomes Us

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Death Becomes Us

each day is a blessing,

unless it's your very last...

but even then, it can

still be somewhat a blast,

if you're traveling in

an upright position,

and not longing for

that which has past

Very powerful words James. You're right, we should enjoy life and live each day to the fullest.
We never know what tomorrow may bring.

Hugs my friend

You have used metaphors in a way that enables the reader to understand the message of truth that you have written. Every single day is precious when we live in the present! ~ Jude :-)
