Split, Right Down The Middle

Split, Right Down The Middle

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Split, Right Down The Middle

in your eyes,

I saw us standing together,

but as the tears fell,

and then hit the pavement

I knew, we'd been cracked,

just like a million broken eggs

Oh, this one is sad James. Like poor Humpty Dumpty, couldn't be put together again.

Sad! This sounds like the end of a passionate love affair, broken so bad it can't be fixed.
