Wings of Pearl

Wings of Pearl

A Poem by James K. Blaylock

Wings of Pearl

hey there, being of obilvion,

come take me far beyond...

or are you somewhat more,

with wings of pearl, I'd figure,

you were here for higher purpose,

and as for us, we're just wasting time

on petty things, and viced in shameful lust

WOW James this is beautiful wings of pearl, I like that,
I wonder sometimes at the craziness of our world. We do waste so much time on petty things. Like filling out tons of paper work, just to throw it away. Like at hospitals and the such. And a lot of other things also. Just what are doing?

Wow. What a poetical way of expressing adoration and the sublime.
I like the last verse it shines a bit of realism on it.
